Woody64 studied computer science at the TU Vienna in the 80s. He developed software, worked 25 years in distributed software teams and started 3D printing more than 9 years ago, at a time when this technology was still in its infancy beyond the professional field. He was one of the first shop owners at the 3d print provider Shapeways and sold over this platform maher than 10,000 parts, which were produced "on demand". The creation of rendered images has been a byproduct of these activities, which wase presented to a wider audience with books on minifigs in historical "garb".
This side is now an entry point for special mass orders, allowing 3d printied items to be ordered in a reduced price range..
